All I would like to learn more about this knife. I bought it about 25 years ago an never really knew much about it.

I would like to find out when it was made, how much it cost new, how much is it worth now, how desirable is it?

How does this knife compare to a Randall?

Thanks in advance!

Al Mar knives are fetching pretty prices on eBay. There are apparently some serious collectors. As for value, go to the site and research 'sold items'. Prices are all over the place for different models, and I suspect you will be pleased with your findings....

I’ve always regretted not buying that model when they were sold. That and the blued SOG version. I’m guessing the low end of value on yours would be $350-$400.
