Alabama House Bill 2

The Alabama Legislature passed HB2 and it was signed into law by Governor Bob Riley. This bill repealed the Class C felony for anyone who possesses, receives, obtains, sells, or uses a short barreled rifle or short barreled shotgun. Although this was legal by federal law, Alabama law had retained the law against use or ownership of such weapons until now. Score one for gun rights.
