I had an interesting experience on my early morning walk today. I saw what appeared to be a string of satellites moving across the southern sky. I counted 24 total. It really had me baffled at first because who ever heard of satellites moving in large groups, one after the other?
Perhaps many of you have heard of the Starlink satellites, but I had not before today. Many people are seeing these and reporting UFO's to MUFON. I guess the plan is to eventually put several thousand satellites in low orbits to provide internet coverage anywhere in the world. It sounds like this will change what the night sky looks like for many of us.
