Happy Independence Day!
In celebration of today I thought a Spegel grip Karma was in order.
Craig made these back in 2004, the wood is Cocobolo. These were made for K/L round butt grip frames.
Note the very dark color, I took the pic outside in the sun to show that there really is some interesting grain, however inside with normal light it's tough to see, Cocobolo darkens with age and I usually asked Craig to make grips on the darker side, so over the past 20 years (give or take) they have darkened to the point that the grain only shows with direct light (sunlight or flashlight
) At the end of the day, it's the feel and fit that makes his grips soooo wonderful...
Anyway, I'll use a random number generator at the end of today, using your post number in this thread, and post the winner either this evening or tomorrow - depending on how crazy today's fireworks noise/commotion in the neighborhood keeps me busy.
