Those railed revolvers have me salivating! I've never seen those models offered up with a rail. Were they a short run or limited production pieces?

they look to me like some sort of sleeve over the barrel so you have an under barrel rail.

This accessory product I have in my workshop together with friends enthusiasts revolver 586/686
I studied him not to change the original structure of revolver.in as in Italy is prohibited to change weapons I have built in steel to set for the shot, and aluminum for attaching the accessories to Picatinny Scina.
now I'm building a model for the 8-inch and another model that also has a sciina Picanty above to mount telescopes and redhot.
I produce them for anyone who asks them to me

Remember ...... I do not speak English well!

That's really cool. How does it hold on?

Did you make that or is it something that is sold in Italy?

I fired over 700 bullets below sensations move 1mm.

for now and just passion it and build someone for friends shooters
although I'd like to dedicate myself to this, in fact I wanted to see what they think Americans shooters

No offense intended do not know the pizza! ;)
but you are the best weapons experts!

I think it would have a market. if made out of alum. it would be neat to add a flashlight or laser to the rail of a revolver, they look real good and if you drill and tap the top and set screw the bottom it would never move. about how much would one cost plus shipping?

I do not know how much it costs an expedition ITA-USA

however, the rail will cost about 200 euro, the cost is a bit high because a few numbers by building material costs me a lot

i like that and u engraved ur user name on it how cool is that i think thats a big hit

the beauty that since I am also an engraver can engrave any name or picture.
In fact, I would like to build an all black with the Punisher logo

Nice.
It appears you are a skilled machinist.
I like that. Those are a great way to enable mounting of optical sights without permanently modifying the gun.

this is what I wanted
I really like the modified weapons, but if they come from the factory in a way there is a reason .....

I agree.
Best L frame modification ever.
The fact that it's reversible is even better.

You speak English better than I speak Italian.

Are these made with a CNC mill, lathe, and/or machining center?

Looks like great work!

A little concerning that it would add weight to an already muzzle-heavy 6" 686. Then, you attach something to that rail and compound the issue. Might be just the thing for a 3" or 4" gun though, right?

I'm impressed. You did a very fine job on those. If I had a need for something like that I would definitely be interested. I like that's it's not a permanent modification as well.

Thank you for such a nice contribution to the forum---and you sir are not only a master
machinist but a master marksman as well as evidenced by your target pictures. Great work.

Hello 686Barracuda from Danvers Illinois, USA. That's some good work and fine shooting. If you ever make it this way, stop by and we'll squeeze a trigger or two and then you can try some American pizza.

Is there a web site for these?

Are you selling these to the public? Can they be shipped to another country? That is a brilliant design. Very well done.

Those sleeves are awesome! Very nice craftsmanship.
Those would sell like crazy here in the U.S.
