Full house Wilson Combat pistol commissioned on a new Colt SS 1911. This is not a Wilson program pistol.
Build sheet details the extensive level of workmanship put into this firearm.
This pistol has been mostly a safe queen rather than a working pistol.
A couple features have changed from the original build which are slotted grip screws and ergo grips.
Notice however how the slots on the grip screws line up as they are supposed to on a high grade custom pistol.
Pics show some scuffing on barrel hood from shooting. The color that shows is lighting not rust.
Looking at a copy of the original factory target tells you why this pistol is out of the ordinary.
It’s not just the accuracy of the pistol but the individuals who built the pistol. Just run down the list of the names of legendary industry professionals who put their efforts in to building this firearm.
