Altamont..... Did they ever use real wood?

At one point I thought Altamont offered a line of real wood, along with their diamond wood grips.

Hah! This gave me a chuckle.

I think Altamont still makes some on contract that are not generally available, but I could be mistaken. All laminate or "dymondwood," as far as I know.

That may be what it is. I had one set that had the initial k scratched on the back of each grip.This is standard practice for grips made for Kimber.
