Alternative finishes

Looking for a reasonalbly priced alternative to re-bluing an appearance challenged 13-2 3". If pictures of final results are available I would appreciate that as well.

If anyone knows of the where-abouts of an existing finish thread I would be interested in the link.

If its a carry peice you can try Brownells Oxpho blue it's a paste you don't degrease just apply like a wax let it sit for about 40-60 secs wipe off do this step a couple of times then apply a good oil let it sit for about 12-24 hrs wipe and should be ready to go.

I've done this to a couple of guns I bought with the finish your showing and I just carry them.
