I am looking to trade my Taurus 44 8 3/8" for a 6" 29-2, 29-3, or a 629 5-6" powerport plus cash of course.

Joining the S&WCA does not require that you own any guns. If you are
interested, any S&WCA member can sponsor you.

Some of the members collect just paper -other collect only boxes, etc.

It only takes one of something to make you a collector! I guess I'm more of an accumulator. I can't list all my Smiths on one page any more (and certainly not from memory).

cgt457 I list mine in a Excel spread sheet, and use a smaller font. That way you can get more on one page. I made the mistake of making a more visible "rack" to hold handguns, and have them spaced 1 1/2" between pegs and they are mounted side by side on the wall inside my walk in vault. I really like it as it lets plenty of air circulation around the guns, but my wife walked in one day and counted them. She informed me I didn't need any more.

You violated the fundamental, number one rule of gun collecting; never, never, ever let your wife see the inside of your gun safe! I made that mistake, once. Now, I am forever barred from complaining about how much she spends on shoes.
