I was looking for and wanting a model 25. I ran across and settled for this old pre 26, which has become my favorite "shooter."

Before the 26, my favorite was my 27-2.

Favorite shooter would be this old gun, nothing special, I practically stole it, but it is a great shooter and it gets shot!

For punching holes in targets, my favorite of my dozen revolvers is this old S&W model 27, which I bought used in 1968. It has the 8-3/8 inch barrel, and is almost like shooting a rifle.
