Gentlemen and ladies
I usually hang out in the Revolvers 1896-1961 or the Revolvers 1961-1980 categories, so this is my first post here in the knife section. But I've run across something I'd like to pin down.
I found a boxed knife with the sheath, apparently never removed from the box or, at least, unused.
Model # 6083
American Series
Box says Bangor Punta and resembles revolver boxes from the 1980s.
The SCSW 4th has a listing for the American Series under "Later Designs" but the BP era ended in 1984. SCSW says 1981 for the American Series. That seems to fit with everything else.
So, the questions are:
1. Whether this knife was made before the line was sold to Vermont Knife Company.
2. What would be a fair price for this knife in essentially ANIB condition?
