Does anyone have any experience with these sights? I read an article that suggested that the eyes were quicker to pick up square angles than circles or dots. I have a set of Trijicon HDs on a pistol, but not completely some on them. I'm currently running FOs on one carry gun, byut have found that I am still to used to having. a tritium lamp up front.

I prefer square. I have them on a Glock 27. They are very nice as I like the emphasis to be on the front sight rather than the rear. I am a bit of a minimalist with sights. I don't care for fiber optics. The front sight is very easy to pick up at night as the tritium seems to charge the surrounding glow in the dark yellow. The rear sight, not having tritium, is hard to pick up at night unless you keep it charged.

Thanks for the reply. I've read some complaints that the colored inserts fall out sooner than later. Have you had any issues?

I have them on my Glock 43.They seem to work well for me. But I have not had them long,or ran them real hard .Maybe 200 rds since I put them on.Stil not carrying the 43 much .Waiting on next qualifaction at my dept.

I Will follow up further. I will also make a note to check front sight height to see if its compatable with 10-8 Performance.

Any new info on the CAP sights by Ameriglo? The spokesperson said they were "defensive" and meant to cover the target. Wondering about IDPA, and whether they would lead to down 1s? Also interested in long term reliability reports. Thanks

I have (had) them on my Glock 43. I found it no longer shot point of aim, but was shooting a little low. Also, I couldn't tighten the front sight fully so it would move just a bit left/right also throwing the aim off a bit. Finally, I find the yellowish/greenish colored square front sight a bit hard for my eyes to easily pick up - and the tiny night sight tritium portion is nearly useless. None of those three issues made the G43 unusable at defensive ranges (say inside ~20'). However, I ended up replacing the front sight with a stock Glock steel front sight and filled in the rear sight luminescent yellow/green line with bright white fingernail polish. Overall, I think the design concept is fine, but I wouldn't buy another set. Instead, I'd try the orange colored front dot sight with a blacked out rear sight, or a fiber optic front sight with blacked out rear. That's just my take.
