Hello all, trying to find out what model Ameriglo I dot sight would work on my 9c. I shot a buddies shield with the orange front dot, and my eyes liked it! Do I get a shield version or just the regular m&p version? Thanks in advance.

Go for the SW-212-230-OR for a front sight only for the Compact, about $50 opticsplanet.com. I think the SW-745 set for the Shield will also work on the Compact though. Check with the AmeriGlo web site help. I have the SW-745 on my Shield and love them. The SW-247 set is the orange front outline tritium night sights for the 9c, not the SW-745. The Ameriglo web site does not list the front sight as having the orange outline but if you click on the link it brings up a picture that shows the orange outline. I confirmed this with Ameriglo.

I have a 9C that I have the Ameriglo Pro-I-dot sights on. The front sight has the orange ring and the rear has the U-notch. I have been very happy with the set up and my accuracy went up and target acquisition became easier. Been using this set up over a year.
Sw-745 is what I was using, I contacted Ameriglo and they said it won't work with the 9c. They told me the Sw-247 would work but that one looks to have the square rear and I prefer the U shape. Gnjeepn do you by chance have the model # you are using? Thanks for the replies!

I am not sure what happened to mine, but I went through two Ameriglo "green dots" on my Shield (they kept popping out when firing). Ameriglo finally sent me a tritium nightsight and all is well. Just an FYI.
