20 rounds times 30 boxes equals 180$

600 rounds bulk with ammo box 240$
Cabela's: PMC .223 Bulk Ammunition with Dry-Box

is there a difference im not seeing? or is it really a $60 difference for the same product?

is there a better ammo in this price range and quantity?

I don't know about the PMC ammo but I know sometimes it's quite a bit cheaper to open the cartons of primers and buy them by the 100 pack. I know a shooter who filled his shopping cart by doing this and bought every Federal pistol primer they had in the store.

It seems to me as though it's a $60 ammo box! Sometimes the marketing department makes a goof. It seems to me that you found a deal by simply purchasing 30 boxes of the 20 count product! Run with it and be glad. Happy shooting...where else are you regularly finding .223 Rem for 30 cents a round?

well i waited around and they jumped the price up to 8.99 a box

Yes, you know the saying about making hay while the sun shines....
Seems they had some $6/box 7.62x39mm ammo in boxer-primed brass a few months back, but it was quickly marked up to near $10. A loss leader, I suppose, but it was the chance to get some reloadable brass in that caliber on the cheap!
