You can use any metal, fiber or other case designed to carry small quantities of ammunition (< 11 lbs including container).
I use the original cardboard containers if possible, because they don't cause any arguments. Otherwise, I use plastic boxes by Plano, which are available for most calibers in 50 or 100 round capacity. They have real hinges and two latches, and a loop which I can put a twist tie or tie wrap for added security.
I use Plano boxes to and from the range too, because they never come open in my range bag, unlike cheaper boxes. Midway has them, or you can go on Amazon.
Pelican boxes are sturdy, but don't have partitions. I don't think they would pass TSA muster if challenged. You don't want the possibility of one bullet striking the primer of another (however remote that might be).
