Finally I just picked up 200 rounds 9mm American Eagle 115 grain at Scheels for $12.99 a box still waiting for the $9.99 days.

My Shield still rocks and has been flawless for 1,600 rounds.

200 rounds for $12.99 a box is a good price. 9mm does seem to be a little more available these days. Yesterday at my LGS I picked up a box of Remington 147 Gr. for about $13.00. Just 50 rounds though.

OP's post is confusing.

I think he meant to say he bought four boxes (200 rounds) at $12.99/50.
That sounds about like a current Walmart price.

I think the price will go even lower yet for steel-case 9mm.

I bet he meant 4 boxes of 50 rounds at $12.99 each :-)

I paid $12.99 per box of 50 American Eagle 115 grain 9mm.

Sorry if I caused any confusion.

It did get me hopeful the days of price inflated ammo is behind us.

Still have not seen any 22 for 6 months. I just bought my wife a Ruger SR22 and mop for her birthday and I would like to see some 22 at a reasonable price.

She told me she loves the mop and I love shooting her 22.

I'm waiting for boxing day sales lol... Last year I picked up american eagle 124 grain boxes of 50 for 11.99 . And there was no limit on how many you could buy.

I'm still waiting for the $9.97 100rd WWB to return. Ahhh...those were the days.

the Wal-Mart by me just raised the price of shot shells from 23.97 to 28.97 for a win. pack of 100

Walmart near me usually has a 100ct box of Remington UMC or Federal 115gr for $22.xx. That has shifted my focus from .22 back to 9mm.

22 is a joke. .13 per round for cci has steered me back to 9 mm for .25 per round.

I just can't see 13 cents in a 22 round.

My local wal-mart today had lots of 45, lots of 40, a few 9mm. They also had 1000 round boxes of the Winchester m-22 for $50.47 or $50.97. And about 20 boxes of CCI minimag for $7.47/100. Not bad.

Was at a LGS and they have American Eagle 9mm 100 round boxs. No limit, (they were only selling ammo with a pistol purchase) for only $45.00, so I passed! They must have had over a 100 stacked in a pymarid. Did not have the heart to tell him I just picked up 3 WWB 100 round for $25.00 each. Ammo is starting to look better!

The Walmart near me had Remington UMC .45 ACP 250 rd Mega-packs for 94$ each. I now have 500 rounds of FMJ to practice with. I went back for some 9mm but they were sold out. It was going for $64 each. They still have 7-8 boxes of .40 cal.

At the Utah Walmart's we have folks camp out so they can buy up all the 22 ammo for $20 a brick and turn around and resale on the internet for $50.

I can't wait until supply catches up with demand so the folks camping out at 3 a.m. can get a good night sleep in their own bed.

Aug. Winchester white box as $24.67 for a hundred tonight it was $26.67 for a hundred. Prices still going up. Makes me sick looking at my ammo stash, I right the date purchased and price on every box. Oh well the only reason I buy factory nine is cause of my shield. Powder, and primers are getting easier to find.... just waiting on back ordered bullets
