Ammo fast

I think he was suggesting ammofast (website) has 22LR in stock, which is true, but you'd need to be smoking something good to pay $80 for a Fed Bulk 525 pack!

Seriously...they always seem to have stuff in stock but no way I'm paying those prices. I'll shoot my air rifle before I pay that much.

Picked up 2 boxes of Federal 550 count at Walmart last week for $23.97 per box. I used the Walmart App to find which stores would have it in stock. They limit one box per customer. The App showed three local stores (total of 40 miles back to my house and $6 in gas) would have it in. Got a box, at the first two stores, but the third store didn't get any in. I was done with all three stores by 7:45 am. The Sporting Goods first employee shows up at 7 am, in our area. If you don't get in early, it is all gone quick. I check the App often, and it has been a long time since they got in the bulk boxes.

True, but even more expensive than the 22LR he posted :D unless you get a prescription (medical vs. recreational).

Sorry. If you can,t afford to buy ammo it's time to sell guns i can't find a deel on smoke

Why would I WASTE money on inflated prices for the cutesy little plinker gun? I'll just
buy a few more thousand rounds of Light Armor Piercing for the 5.56..... At least those
prices are back to normal!

But you're on a roll, Dude! Don't worry about grumpy old guys. Thanks for the tip, and let us know when you find a deel on smoke ;)

Spelling, punctuation, grammar...who needs it when you have a good "deel" on smoke?

Oh wait, he doesn't have that either. Sorry, but I'm just picky about posts being at least somewhat readable.

I do realize in the grand scheme of things it's only $80.00 but the last time I bought
525 packs they were $19.00 and there is just no way I can swallow that amount of
mark up... If there is a shortage of rimfire it's only because of those who run to
Walmart when deliveries come in, and then turn around and sell them for 3X
mark up. Capitalism dictates that anyone can do this.. It also stipulates that I have
the right not to consume those goods, and hope they choke on them!

:D

Ammoman has federal 525 bricks for the low low price of $135.00

I just wait and snatch a box here and there at gander or Walmart for real world prices. Got 1k rounds this Christmas.

Ammo is out there you just have to be there when it hits the shelves.

The bottom line is... most of us shoot .22lr to SAVE money on purchasing ammo for other weapons that have gotten too expensive to get range time with.

Why pay the same prices for .22lr rounds that you would to feed your non-plinker weapons? It defeats the purpose.

To me, availability isn't the issue... it's paying $0.30 to $0.50 a round for ammo that normally runs $0.03 or $0.04 a round (if that). I would just as soon go buy a box of 100 .45ACP rounds for $48.99 and put them down range from my every-day carry weapon instead.

Also, don't forget about shipping! MidwayUSA has had some deals on .22lr ammo where it has been $0.05 a round... so you buy 500 rounds for $50.00 and then they want to charge you another $30 for shipping... that will jump the PPR up to $0.16!

Cabelas...

I've picked up several thousand rounds from them over the past year. If not free, shipping usually runs about $6.

Stop wasting time/money buying from all these other overpriced outfits.
