Here in my home state in the north east they want all our semi auto rifles gone and now that bad armor percing FMJ "steel core" ammo. But i think there getting it all mixed up. In newtown the clown shot thru a steel casement door killing a teacher. The standard FMJ leadcore ammo can do that as well as any soft point hunting bullet. I really think they got the FMJ leadcore and the FMJ steel core bullets mixed up or they don't know there are two FMJ bullets. I really think the jacketed soft point would do even worse damage when the lead and jacket seperates. Thats why the exit wounds on aminals are larger than the entry wounds. The FMJ bullet is cleaner and wound wise thats why its in the GC laws about war. After all they still have the stripper clips and magazines still mixed up too.
