Got my first handgun today - 632-1 carry comp. I'm going to shoot 327 magnum and my wife and daughter will shoot 32s&w long. I noticed that 32 s&w long available only as LRN or lead WC. Can somebody recommend the least dirty lead ammo ? (if such exists).
Thanks in advance.

I think Georgia Arms ammo has a reputation of being a good value yet very dirty. They were having a free shipping sale going on. Palmetto State Armory also had a free shipping deal (might still be going on.) I think you will find value priced = dirty and the cleaner ammo is more expensive. Personally I clean my guns after each session so dirty ammo really doesn't bother me too much.

I bought this gun from reputable dealer as new. As much as I can see it is really new. However, noticed that on the card where collector signed date is 01-28-2010. If it is new, where it could have been for 2 years?

A 3" black 632 comp sat in a local gun store nearly that long. The store owner said he would not re-order it. I had to order my 2 1/8" 632 Pro elsewhere. They aren't cheap - Ruger, Charter Arms, and Taurus models sold better. Only S&W and Ruger still offer the .327 Magnum chambered revolvers, the other two brands having dropped them last year. It's not a big seller.

They will chamber and fire .32 ACP, .32 S&W, .32 S&WL, .32 H&RM, and the designed-for .327 Federal Magnum. Between cleanings, shoot the high pressure .327 Federal Magnums first, following in reverse order from above. Once you've shot a shorter round, don't go back to .327 Federal Magnums - until you clean the chambers - they are such high pressure rounds that they use small rifle primers! That comp will require frequent cleaning, too.

I had 800+ .32 S&WL's - 94-96gr LRNFP homebrews - from my previous .32 H&RM Ruger dalliance. From my recollection, the GA Arms .32 ammo was no dirtier than others. Their 100gr .32 H&RM JHP was hot, however. Nice folks, too.

Stainz

PS I carry Speer 115gr Gold Dots - $20-$22/20 - range load is the American Eagle (Federal) 100gr SPJHP @ $27-$30/50.
