No...it's not another one of those "I can't find any" stories...it felt even worse!

Friend and I went hiking out into the sticks to go plinking this afternoon.

He brought his .45 Shield and an AR-15, along with his shooting bag containing glasses, headphones, etc.

I brought my backpack with all the goodies, plus my .40 Shield and my little KSA Crickett single shot .22LR rifle.

We got to our impromptu shooting range and set everything up in preparation for some fun times! :)

...and that's when I discovered I had left my .40 S&W ammo sitting on a table in my cabin.

Fortunately we had enough firepower to still have a great time out there and that little Crickett rifle was a HOOT to shoot!

Hadn't shot that thing in years.

Some time ago I had swapped out its stock plastic buttplate for a modified military one with a trapdoor, so I had 50 rounds of plinking ammo stashed inside its hollow stock...WHEW!

My day was saved!

One time I took a target 22 rifle and forgot the bolt. I received our club's version of "The Lead Boot" for a year.

Well, yesterday at the auction I decided I needed some ammo for this years squirrel's shootin, so I stocked up on some stuff to get'm.

IMG_4666.jpg

This load was some 7.62 stuff..Some un-opened tins of some ball, a box of 800 un-opened, some Match 308, got to have some tracers to see where I'm shoot'n, so I picked UP A package of 300 + tracers...

And I got some .45, so .357, some, 38/.357 snake shot, got 1000 rounds of .22WMR's...I figured might as well get them since I don't see them on the shelves much around here.

Hmmm...can't seem to get some of the other pictures to load at the moment of some of the other stuff...

I couldn't get all the photos posted???? What I did..

Anyway, in my other post of Stash Part 2....It looks like I'm going to have some more to choose from, and buy, and practice with, in case I can't hit that pesky squirrel the first time.,:D

Certain politicians with their vehemently anti gun rhetoric have done more to arm the American populace than any other method. However, it does make the acquisition of ammo difficult at best.

Yes, and hopefully very soon we'll all be buried in some flippin' PRIMERS!

AR guns are famous for all the changes that can be done to them,,

I have been thinking about making a video on how to convert an AR style gun to flintlock ignition,,, :)

The problem is, on full auto, the flint wears away pretty fast,,

:D
