I put a scope on it and took it to the indoor range to sight in at 25yds. with 333 Win bulk.(no FTF,FTE,mis fires)
After sight in I Tested this list of ammo to check for reliability. Only the reliable ammo will make it to the next round of accuracy test.
50rds. per test *except CCi standard and Aguila match.
-CCi Standard 26g.(Not enough pop to reset hammer, ejected fine and reloaded without a problem just wouldn't reset the hammer)
-CCi Green Tag 40g.(perfect flawless)
-Win 333 bulk(reliable, no problems but immediately notice not as accurate as greentag or Win SuperX 40g power point)
-Win S-X 40g PowerPoint(perfect flawless)
-Aguila Golden Eagle Match(very accurate probably the best but like the CCi Standard it didn't have enough pop to reset the hammer)
-Aguila Interceptor(perfect, flawless, this round has plenty of pop)
-Rem Viper(the only ammo to produce a misfire 3 in a 50 pack, also noticeably not as accurate as others, out of competition) to be honest I have never had good luck with Rem rimfire anything. I was hesitant in buying it and it was justified.
So of the seven I would say the lower velocity cartridges are out do to not being able to reset the hammer every time but they did eject, feed fine and work well in my pistol and Marlins. Maybe with the lighter spring the warranted guns have solved this problem because both of them seemed very accurate. Next Rem viper was out do to poor all round performance, well I shouldn't say that, it did eject and feed fine. The 333 bulk pack was very good but I could see that it wouldn't keep up with the accuracy of the next 3 so why waist time. It's accuracy was on par with the vipers(about a 1/4" off of the others at 25yrds).
Accuracy test was done at 25yds. and I was using my elbows to rest on the table(no bipod or sand bags) so it's fair to say these are even more accurate than shown.
The groups are 15 rounds and I ran a bore snake in between each test group both ways(twice) after every 15rounds including the reliability tests*25rounds.
CCi Green Tag: upper left
Win Super X: middle
Aguila Interceptor: bottom right
With the Interceptor and Green tag grouping I moved on both the upper out of place shots. it was harder than I thought to hold 15 round groups, concentrating, without moving, without a bi-pod or sand bags.
The green tags are the most accurate but they don't have the pop of either of the next two, nor are they copper plated.
