Lol I say that everytime, until i see some more forsale on the big C lol

I was supposed to get some Blazers in from Cabelas today. They shipped March 4th from Wisconsin and they have been stuck in Illinois since then. Just got the notification today.Something about a late trailer arrival. At least it won't hinder my range trip tomorrow.

I called them when i had a few orders cancelled. they told me they screen the orders by credit card number. If you have more than one order per day on the same credit card, they will cancel one of the orders.

Doubtfull, I've placed a few multiple orders of the same 1 per order item right after another and got them all. Not just for .22 either. I think that's just their excuse when they oversell. :D

I have placed back to back orders with the same card and sometimes they went through and sometimes they cancelled the second order. Using different cards in the same day hasn't failed so far. I'm done for a while unless I can get mini mags for 6 or 7 cents per round. I'm trying to get 22 WMR now but they're tough to come by.

I use the same card the key is different adresses ill buysome then put in another order and have them sent to my brother scored nearly 4000rnds that way

-> WARNING <-

I don't know if this is Target style security breach, but I used my American Express card on all of my Cabela's orders, and two weeks later there were over $1,000 of attempted fraudulent charges on it. AE called me right away and got it blocked, but when I tried to call them back, the auto answer message said that they were experiencing excessively long hold times (suggesting that this was not uncommon).

The last time this happened to me was when my VISA bank blocked fraudulent charges from the Target breach. If you have instant online access to your credit card account, I would suggest everyone check their "Pending Charges" right away.

In the last month or so, the Ammo Thread has been responsible for The Following... all from Cabela's and picked up localy..

3500rds Blazers, just picked up 1500rds today at Cabela's
4200rds of Remington Golden Bullets (3 tubs of the NEW and Improved Bucket-O-Bullets)

of the 12 orders i have Placed, only 2 got Canceled... all the rest have shipped...

Rock and Roll:D

Nice, my Golden Bullet tub last week got backordered, everything else has come through.

I love the finds that have been posted in the ammo thread, a big thank you to all of the contributers, but I can't help but be a little envious of the guys who can check the thread all day long. I see your photos of 5k-8k rounds of 22lr and think - well darn, some of us have to work for a living. At least I grabbed two Blazers and an M-22, when I could check, but it was heartbreaking to have my phone buzz telling me that someone just posted a new find while I was stuck in a meeting or couldn't stop what I was doing. Keep sharing, maybe one day I will catch up to some of you all (or y'all as some parts of the country say).

This is why I always use a "one-time" or "virtual" credit card number for on-line purchases. Card number can't be used again even if some company's computer system is hacked.

I didnt see any decently priced ammo yesterday (less than 7 cents a round), and i watched all day.

Missed out on today's Natchez mini - mags (stuck in a meeting at the time) but then went to the thread and found the link to the Big C's M22's.
Great to have the link working again!
