Some say that Big C is now directing all their rimfire allocation to their retail stores. I was hopeing they were planning an online rimfire blitz. Only time will tell, but price gouging by other online vendors seem to be approaching new all time highs. Things are not improving that I can see.

I suspect this is true especially for their grand opening of new stores. There is a grand opening of a new store near me today. They allowed club card holders to go in yesterday so I went to check it out. They had a full display stocked with bricks of Blazer 22. They also had other .22 with a limit of 1 bulk back or two 50 packs. I didn't go until about 1:00 pm and they still had plenty of Blazer bricks. Employees I spoke with said the entire line of people bee lined for the ammo section when the doors opened.
And that wasn't even the grand opening so I suspect they will be restocked for today as well

Glenns ammo was posted by liberty Head just a few days ago as having CCI Standard VC in stock. I ordered 1500rds and they arrived today.

That could explain the drought in their recent online offerings, they were saving up to stock the Grand Opening! Lets hope more becomes available online soon.

I'm still waiting on my backordered CCI Mini-mags I ordered from Cabela's back on March 31. The last email I received said they were supposed to be in stock on April 28.

Yeah same here... I'm waiting for a couple, the Mini Mags which as end of April. And some other CCI's due in July sometime! July!!! Why even backorder that long...it's an order from Feb or March I think...crazy.

So I picked up one of the 300 round AR Tactical packs from Cabelas on the 6th of June and it shipped yesterday, but I'm still waiting on my March 31 order of Minimags.

I've got Swamp People CCI's on b/o since March as well. Also 1K Mini Mags on b/o that they have been trying to cancel on me every week but I won't let them...

It was $119.99 for the can. I'm justifying not getting them also by telling myself that I would have never been up at 2:30a.m. anyway.
I actually tried at 7AM, but was sold out already. Just for the hell of it, I checked again around noon, and I was able to add it to my cart and checked out. Let's see what happens, so far I got an email from Gander Mt. that my order is being processed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully, this is the beginning of the end of the shortage. FYI, got some 5.56 from Natchez 420 rds w/can for $142.99 cheapest I've seen in a while. PA gun show at The Oaks, lots of 22's for sale, anywhere from $35 to $60 for the can of Federal Canned Heat which usually would sell for $17.99, but plenty were available if you wanted them really bad!

$119.99/1600=7.5 cents per round. That's a great deal and I'm totally bummed that I didn't get it. I do hope it signals the loosening of the market on these great 22lr's at a reasonable price. I have some on backorder and was doubtful the order would ever ship. Now I have a little bit of hope.
Just an fyi - I saw some mini mags today for $109.99 for 500 rounds. That's 22 cents per round. I choke when I see that and hope we can get mini mags in the future for around 7-8 cents on a regular basis.

I have some of that 1600 mini-mag solids in ammo box headed my way now, complete with tracking number. I also had a backorder of a case of mini-mags ship after almost a year last month and just had a case of SK standard+ that I didn't even remember ordering because it had been so long ago. That should set me up pretty well for both match ammo for me and both of my daughters that compete in position rifle match, as well as for plinking and Steel Challenge matches that we shoot. Good luck to everyone else. I'm done with ordering for a while, even without seeing a single 22lr round for sale locally in the last year.
