i had a buddy get me about 340 rounds of ammo from gander
mountain. I can't find anything at my gander mountain location, anyone else having the same luck? is it just luck of the draw ?

In regards to Gander Mtn They have had no ammo except for some SD rounds for months and those are way over priced. They appear to have given up and just fill the empty shelf space with ammo storage boxes. My local WM, LGS and Fleet Farm get ammo in regularly and the prices have been fair. Right now GM has Speer gold dots for $34.99. fleet farm has the exact same box for $23.99. I won't be checking at GM anymore.

Yep, Wallyworld is the only place I can regularly find 9mm ammo.

9mm and 22lr are so hard to find right now. One of the reasons I would not purchase any gun in 9mm right now. I own 3 M&P's in 40 and can find ammo all day long. Would love to buy a 9 barrel for my Compact but feel it would be a waste of money. As long as the military is going to use 9mm you will be hard pressed to find any in bulk to make it worth while to purchase. I'm sitting on 9,000 rounds of 40, even purchased a nice 40 carbine to boot. And have about 15,000 rounds or 22lr to go plinking with. I try to replace what I shoot, but have to look hard to find good prices on any of those rounds as of late. 5.56 and .223 are coming back pretty strong now, and I am starting to stock up on them now. I think the Government is still buying ammo in huge bulk and we just don't know about it.
