What are you carrying today?

Amazing, the weight some of you carry around. Heavy fa's with many rounds. Are some of yins expecting a war? My 38+p LCR goes in my front pocket, and I just about forget it's there. I won't carry unless it's a comfortable pistol.

Same S&W model 38 that I've carried for past 20+ years.
I use a pocket holster and it goes in my front pocket when I get dressed in the morning and comes out when I undress to take a shower before bed. At work, church, supermarket, out hunting, it's always in my pocket. I occasionally supplement it with larger gun like 1911, Hi-power or Glock in a IWB holster if I feel it's necessary.

I too am amazed that some of us lug around so much artillery. I usually have a little cash, drivers license, credit card, and weapon carry license in the left front pocket and a Swiss Army knife and a pen in the right. If I didn't use the phone so frequently for a camera, it could stay home. They have gotten so big they are a nuisance. I am too lazy to wear a gun nowadays, but I insist on the right to do so when I (not big brother) think I might need it. Generally, the car carries the phone and the guns.

When I go out to visit with the dogs and change the oil/filter in my car I'll be wearing the M&P 1.0 5" 9MM PC. Two spare mags. on the belt on the left side (OWB/open carry on my property.)

When I take the car out to drive it around a bit after some recent maint., state inspection, and oil/filter change (as well as a good wash and interior cleaning) I'll be wearing a Shield Plus 9MM with three extra mags. on the belt (IWB/concealed carry).

Same today as yesterday and the day before that. Once fall sets in we'll go back to the LW Commander, same caliber, .45ACP

Same here.
I think for some people, carrying a handgun(s) is as much for fun as anything.
There is no way I am going to pack around 4 or 5 pounds of concealable weaponry and ammo every day unless I am a cop or a soldier.

Had you asked me last week at this time, the answer would've been my shield .45. I started to carry my ruger sp101 327 federal magnum with a 4.25" barrel. Ive been thinking about getting a holster for my 4.25" m&p40 as well. I imagine that if I carried anything larger and I would no longer be able to carry concealed.

It's all about what you're comfortable with and if you can use it efficiently. Otherwise it's no one's business but theirs

642 ankle or pocket holster, or M&P Shield .45 ankle or IWB holster. Depends on the activity which one or both.

"I wish I had carried an LCR with a 5 round capacity today instead of a full size semi automatic service caliber pistol" said no one engaged in self defense against one or more armed assailants ever.

Since I'm going to the doctor today, rather than carry a full sized pistol, I'll need to pocket carry my M&P 9c loaded with 13 rounds of 147 grain Federal HST and a 12 round reload.

If I was expecting a war, rather than go out, I'd stay at home behind my locked my front door.

I carry a firearm where it is available if I need it. Went to play pickleball today for 2 hours. I'll be 75 in less than 3 months. I play wearing a pair of drawstring shorts, t shirt, socks, and shoes I got at the goodwill store for $20.
No firearm would be concealable under those clothes on a pickleball court. The only people around are friends for two years and most are retired and financially comfortable and very peaceful.
If I go to a place where I would encounter potential criminals then I might wear different clothes that would allow concealment, but frankly I avoid those places as a general rule.
