I know these went out years ago but I still think they are 1 of the most accurate scales out there. You press the button and the charge meters out on a balance beam scale. While your charge comes out you can seat your bullet. No lost time. Mine has worked great for 25 years. Best part is I bought them new for 125.00. All these new electronic scales I see run 300.00 and up and I have read of many failures and just a 1 year warranty. I just wish someone would bring a newer version of the AMT Autoscale back. Anybody got 1 that works they want to sell.

I have an AMT Hardballer, but had no idea they made scales! Show us what it looks like. How interesting.

If you do a search on ''AMT Autoscale you will see a picture of it. I am new here and have not figured out how to post a picture yet. Sorry.

I still like the auto balance beam type like my AMT. Someday I will be forced to try 1 of the newer electronic scales when mine quits working or buy a RCBS 10-10. I think the electronic scales have come a long way and I really have never seen anyone use them so I am probably missing something.

I had one and gave one to a buddy as a gift many decades ago.

After Harry Sanford passed, AMT never had the same push behind it. Lyman bought the rights to that scale and manufactured it for several years.

The sensor in mine that detects when the balance was level went bad after Lyman stopped making the design. Lyman ended up sending me a 1200 DPS MK-3 that I have been using ever since without issue. It meters MUCH faster

I have 3 or 4 other electronic scales (not dispensers) on hand as well as my trusty old 5-0-5
