Joe, amigo, it's .30 Carbine. Farmer17 also said .30-06. As is, folks complain about blast and flash!

For those who contend that all these prices are $50 high, please tell me where I can buy a Colt Huntsman in the condition described for $300 or less!

The 30-06 is a model 77 and the 30 carbine is a Blackhawk. Two different guns.

Yes, there is both a Blackhawk single action revolver in .30 Carbine and a bolt action M77 in .30-06.

I'm starting to lean towards buying them all and sorting through at my own pace, keeping the ones that excite me and selling off the ones that don't....but I'm just a little worried that the gun pricing increase over the last year or so is a bit of a bubble like the rest of the economy. Do you guys foresee any of these actually ever going down in value? I know that if you keep any quality firearm long enough it will eventually increase in value...but it takes a LONG TIME for some guns...and when you consider the time value of money...some gun purchases don't make sence when taken solely in that light of thinking.

It may take me a year or two...maybe more to really sort though that many new guns and put them through the wringer to figure out what ones really are gems not be let go of and which ones I could do without.

I'm still needing some more persuasion to take the plunge if that is the wise thing to do.

Keep the good comments coming since I'm learning a lot and eating it up! Thank you all!

Sorry for the "correction"!

BTW, still waiting for information on where to buy a Colt Huntsman in 95% condition for $300! Anybody?

The S&W 586 is $100 high, the S&W 28 is $50 high.

The Rugers are all well priced.

Skip both of the Taurus guns.

The Colt Huntsman is a steal and the .22 New Frontier isn't priced, but I wouldn't have a reference.

All told $5000 would be well spent and certainly worthwhile, but then you're forking over your money not me.
