A week ago I had the pacemaker replaced on my wife's anniversary...well mine too. 52 years. Don't think it was a fun day for her...so I have decided to take her out to dinner and then a movie this weekend...no not Mickey Ds dinner either. I might even ...gag...wear a coat and tie!. sometimes...you do have to step up to the plate.

Congratulations on both counts. As for the coat and tie, I am praying that you come to your senses. :D:D

Heartiest congrats!

I have been pacemaker dependent for over 10 years. Go science!

As to coat and tie...I have a friend that owns a local funeral home that told me that he has a suit with the back cut out ready whenever I am.

Y'all with the marrying burying suits are sick! Of course I actually think the same about coat and ties...AND... In fact I just broached the subject to my wife...she said Din Din is great...forget the movie but she might want to do a little shopping!. I'm hoping that means consignment shops...but not sure it sounded that way. It kinda sounded like capital letters/stores!

Funny you posted, today is our 49th. Going out to the fanciest restaurant in town. For what it will cost tonight I could probably buy another gun, or at least a bunch of boolits.

Since she never complains when another S&W follows me home, I guess she's worth it.

Congrats to you....

I just had my pacemaker/defib replaced a couple of weeks ago. The worst
part was when they told me to not shower for 10 days. The whole episode
was not much fun, but not too bad either. I understand it is quite an
expensive procedure, but thankfully the VA picks up my tab.

Well they only told me to hold the showers for 6 days but not to get the site wet for 10. How do you do that in a shower??. Now the good news...I get to forget the coat and tie...yippee! The bad news...no movie but....with bugles blowing. CHARGE it!! The other good news?? I didn't tell her about the new gun(19-3). but did tell her about the new reloader. She might have an idea about the gun I think. I'll bet two-bit cowboy has something I need too...or I have to look for a K-32 or something. Something else is a plus...she told me about the local gun club garage sale swap meet Saturday. Yep...I'm going. Gonna post a for sale on the bulletin board...maybe someone needs my Beretta 391 Sporting Clays gun. I haven't shot it in over 3 years...it's a 12ga.
