I've been bit by the bug I guess. Just picked up this 657 no dash from another forum member. This one made in 1986 (my birthday gun:D). I got to shoot some full house .41 mag loads and it packs a helluva punch to say the least. Very fun to shoot!

I was hesitant without having the pictures first, but I took the gamble and it paid off. :D Super nice guy as well

I looked for a 3" 657 for about 15 years before I found mine. I tell you, it WAS worth the wait. I shoot Remington 210gr JSP and it is a handful. If you ever get a wild hair and want to put some Eagle Secret Service stocks on it ----> DON'T It is brutal ;)

Have you gotten out to shoot it yet? Ii have taken mine to a few public ranges and it always draws a crowd. It is one of my all time favorites and isn't going anywhere without me.

Very nice!! I too have been bitten by "the bug", symptoms include scouring auction and for sale adds 24-7 and a dwindling checking account balance. No known cure except being flat broke with a fully stocked gun safe!! As they say, "life is short" and "you can't take it with you" so indulge yourself and enjoy. Best regards, Bob.

Groo here
Yep, got one, looked for YEARS.
If you want a target/police level load try this.
Starline brass, win primers, 215gr hard cast SWC, normal to heavy crimp [I use heavy] 6gr [1/2gr under book max] Trailboss.
AACCUURRAATTEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Light and fun.
