This morning marked the 10 year anniversary of when I walked into the senior partner's office at my job and announced that I was retiring at the end of the year. I had been keeping quiet and keeping my head down for the previous almost two months since I was approved for Social Security. With everything that was happening in my life there was no doubt in my mind that this was the time to retire. I'm coming up on ten years in retirement and I never questioned the decision for a moment.
I was able to sell my business and retire when I turned 55 - best 17 years of my life! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SIR!
