Have a .32 W.C.F. I bought recently. I belonged to a friend of mine that passed and I bot it to help the widow and enhance my horde. The sn: 71975
. I have a .32 Winchester and thought I would add this varient, now to find a 32-20 marked barreled one.

The .32-20 (AKA 32 Winchester and 32 W.C.F.) hand ejector was numbered in a different sequence than the otherwise identical revolver chambered for the .38 Special. Hence, Robert's reply is off by quite a bit.

Looking at my list of confirmed ship dates for the .32-20, I see two with serial numbers close to yours.
71882 shipped in December, 1916
71930 shipped in November, 1916

Yours, at 71975, probably left the factory in about that same period.

As you may know, the barrel marking changed from 32 Winchester CTG to 32 W.C.F. CTG in about 1913-14. It changed again to 32-20 CTG in 1922.

6” or 4”?

Could be a 5" too.

Okay, so you made me curious. I went back to my list. Here's what I saw:

71182 is a 6" target model (December, 1916).
72215 is a 4" fixed sight example. It shipped in November, 1916.

I don't have the barrel length of 71930 (November, 1916), but I'm told it is a target model.
