Another example of the arrogance/stupidity at Microsoft

Hey Steve,I don't know anything about smart phones,I'm a dinosaur who will give up my 5 year old Boulder when they pry it from my cold dead fingers.I admire your passion though, cause I think you pretty much just summed up corporate America. It ain't just Microsoft.

I already view Win 8.1 for desktops with a jaundiced eye, but I never imagined the smartphone experience would be just as hellish. I guess I should be glad my phone runs Android, huh? :D

Inidentally, I really, really hope this touchscreen fad for PCs goes the way of John Barleycorn... As it stands, I already predict using Windows 7 looooong past its EOS date.

I love my Samsung Galaxy S4. Want the Note4

I've had a Note 3 for the past year and like you, I want the Note 4.

The 3 eliminated having to carry a note pad and pen with me all the time for jotting important stuff down. And the battery will last 24-36 hours without recharging.

I gotta go another year before Verizon will "upgrade" me and by that time there will probably be a Note 5.

The NSA has a hard time doing facial recognition on low res pics so MS removed the low res option. :)

I could give you hundreds of more examples. How about a nice little resource kit tool called typeperf in windows 2000. It was integrated into the OS in Server 2003 so it is supported. Occasionally it will return a negative number if you try to query the % cpu utilization with an * for the cpu number. Microsoft gave me a won't fix answer to my case. I had fun every time another ticket hit my support queue from the perfmon team I would send those back to them with Microsoft's answer.
I made the mistake of using MS Money at home and paid for support when i quit reading my files but they couldn't fix it, supposedly my main data file and all my backups were corrupt.
I've had many more issues over the years.
Apple is just as bad though, I could write pages and pages about them as well.

I went to Open Source a few years ago and never looked back.
