29/30....make sure you understand the question before you answer.

I got 24 right, and probably 10 or more were guesses. I'm not too upset though still on my 1st cup of coffee.

That was fun (26/30). The difficulty ranged from very easy to very obscure. (and I still don't believe one of them, Colt held the patent for the revolver for a while and the assembly line predated Colt by quite a bit). At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :D

28 for 30 here

missed the one on 1) the 1st plastic gun... & 2) Colt & the assembly line... Eli Whitney might be considered to doing that first with manufacturing both cotton gins & firearms with interchangeable parts though... then assembled on a crude assembly line... we were taught that lo those many decades ago in elementary school...

29/30 The program skipped the Dirty Harry question but said I missed it.

There were several obscure revolving pistols made prior to Colt, most notably the Collier. One story was that Colt may have seen one of them during his early seafaring days and was inspired to make his own. See: RARE, ANTIQUE COLLIER REVOLVER

Heard a variation on that story...... but those had to be reotated by hand....Colt's addition was automatic cylinder rotation......when you cocked the hammer.

Legends..... make bad history!

Who had the patent on the bored though cylinder? Colt or was that S&W?
