Tried to take it, but the poorly written javascript kept crashing. Yet another example of how the interweb is being ruined by script kiddies who greatly overestimate their ability to write quality code.

+1. That one got me. I knew Colt did NOT invent the revolver, but also didn't know that he invented the assembly line for guns.
I got 28/30. I also missed the "pistols at dawn" one, I was thinking "cowboy shootout" so chose percussion!!

Usually I just run with JavaScript disabled, but some things like that quiz require it. JavaScript is a plague.

The age of formal dueling had largely passed by the time percussion lock pistols reached mainstream status. Dueling pistols were not rifled.
I enjoyed the quiz and got 26/30. I thought the question about firearms at dawn was asking about the dawn of pistol development, not dawn as in dueling at daybreak. I answered "matchlock" since that came before flintlock.
For some reason, I always thought duels were scheduled for noon.
