Yes..I took some very thin alum. that I had sitting around. Threw it up in a vice to bend it and cut it with a dremel. Painted it black. Used 3m double side tape to stick it on.

Works flawless and ejects them straight to the ground

If it's bouncing off the wall just stand a piece of cardboard there (like a target backer) and it won't happen. Case deflectors or catchers are just another encumbrance ya gotta lug around. Any piece of scrap cardboard will probably do the trick.

Shotguns have "shells." Everything else has "cases." Or conventionally called "brass."
