My guess is most Vets will say "Allied Forces" but that's just a guess. Great Poll...wondering what the out come is.

I'm hoping to own one of each, one day!:)

We are having so much fun shooting this gun.

I voted for VE- Black Frame with Matte finish on slide.
I may purchase a 9GVE for easy recognition when pulling out of the safe and to just have something a little different.
My friend has one of the older SW9V pistols with a more square dull matte stainless slide in white frame or it looks kind of whitish grey to me. It took a little getting used to, but it is ok too since it's a different touch.:)

Another comment that I have is this:

I wish S&W would take the time to post some good pictures of their guns on the website. The size and quality of the pictures they use isn't doing them any favors as far as sales go. Their guns look way better in real life than those crumby pictures do.

I never much cared for the look of poly guns, but I must say that the sigma is among the best looking ones out there. The looks of my sigma has grown on me, big time. Maybe that's partly due to the fact that the gun works so well!

I'd like to see the OD green with an OD green slide. Springer offers this with their GI 1911, very cool indeed!

Thanks, and keep the votes coming!

I voted for the VE with the stainless slide. Though I think it looks alot better with the sided polished. I would like to also get an all black model some day.

I didn't even know there was any color except the SS/black frame until I got mine. I guess this is what they call the Allied Forces? Black on Black?

I also voted VE/Matte, however I'm thinkin of buying a GVE to leave new in the box. Seems there might be less of those around.

I could not vote.

I love the black frame and gray Titanium slide of the SIGMA SW40Ti, but I know that these never made it into production.

This thing is so light. The stainless slide V and VE versions weigh in 20% heavier.

Lee,
Most of those pictures are not pictures. They are 3D renderings from their CAD/CAM software package.

If they would hire a photographer the would look MUCH better.

Thanks for the info colt!

Nice lookin sigma too! I didn't know they made a Ti model.

What year was it made?

Anybody have a good picture they can post of thier OD Green sigma?

I'm really starting to dig that color.:)

Thanks,

Lee

Any more voters out there? If so, please cast it.

This will be good practice for what we need to do in November!:)

I voted for matte stainless. Six of my nine pistols are two-toned, with only the 20+ year old ones in black. I had a psychologist tell me once, that if you carry a gun, make it a light coloured one. He claimed that they look bigger and more intimidating.

I just like the looks of the two-toned Black and Stainless. All black looks too much like a Glock.

A dress SW40 ?

How do I vote for this one?
