ANOTHER FUNNY

Thanks for the laugh, sadly it is also true! In the early days of being a parent, my kids would deer hunt with me. As they grew older and had families their time is so consumed they don't have the time to go hunting with the old man!! Sadly, whatever they learned in the early years is gone forever :(

My kids were the same for fishing, especially my oldest daughter (the youngest not so much, but she would join us). She was really good at it, and loved it. It seemed like overnight she switched it off and changed to an interest in computers. She's a young adult now and hasn't touched a rod in years. I really do think that many young people today, having grown up indoors and protected and with electronics, won't ever have the same love of outdoor activity and life that those of us who grew up pre computer do.

I really doubt they forgot what they learned or all the outdoor activities. Life is different now for young adults. I doubt there are many people out there who know how to eat small game while checking for BBs in their meat. Maybe the grandkids may want to learn the sport. Fishing consumed most of my time when it wasn't hunting season. Just an option.
