Finally had the chance to give my M&P 45 full size a good workout at the range. I'd run about 60 rounds of ball thru it previously with no problems. This time, I put close to 400 rounds consisting of FMJ, Hydra Shok, and Golden Saber, all of it 230 grain. The gun ran flawlessly. It wore a blister at the base of my thumb, but that is the only think I can complain about. When running that many rounds thru a Glock, my trigger finger would be sore from rubbing the trigger safety. Not in this case.

My first three rounds were fired free-standing at 25 yards for accuracy. I put all three right at the base of the neck of the target in probably a three inch group. I also shot playing cards at five and seven yards, both facing and sideways. On occasion, it would cut a sideways card in half if I could get my sights lined up correctly with the edge.

Nevertheless, I am very impressed with this pistol's performance so far.
