Another Model 10

Picked up a 4" 38spl 10-6 today that, other than a few small scuffs and scratches, is in excellent condition and even has the original grip panels with numbers that match the frame. It came with a 1791 holster that was very dried out and sucked up a couple applications of Obenauf's leather oil like a wino with a fresh bottle of Thunderbird.
I already have a 4" model 10-10 so I'm going to use this one as trading material for a 38spl snubbie.

That is great mod 10 there OP. Those stocks are especially cool. I find the diamond PC magnas to be the coolest k frame stocks out there. I love the way the beveled bottom fits in the hand kind of between a round butt and square butt.
Well… coolest maybe 2nd to prewar K magnas due to scarcity.

do you know what year that was shipped ? it looks like around 1960-1966. I have a 1966 M10-5.

I have a shooting friend that has a 10-10 that I just love to shoot. I've tried to buy it from him a few times but he is not the least bit interested in selling it. I think he brings it to the range every few weeks to let me shoot it and just tease me.

Great looking revolver Dorian. My 10-6 was a Police Capts gun was very beat up. A bead blast and reblue produced a beautiful matte finish.
