I have been reading these forums for 2 months now, and I've been a M&P 15-22 owner for 1 month. It is a fantastic rifle and I already have 3280 rounds through mine (keeping track of every box)! I have the MOE edition, but had to get the full size 10 round magazine since I live in Maryland. I cut that down and made a short 10 round thanks to Old No7's tutorial. Mine does not look nearly as nice since I reinforced it with aircraft safety wire and PC-7 (2 part epoxy). I will have get pictures up of the rifle and the magazine after I get back some accessories that are on loan to a friend. Long story short I brought him out to the range with me, he liked my M&P 15-22 so much he bought one for himself. He needed to zero his sights so I loaned him my bi-pod among other things.

It seems dust covers have been all the rage on the forum lately, I have been wanting to get one for myself. In addition to PainterlyShotGroup's offerings I found another on Ebay. I searched through the forums and didn't see any posts on these covers so I thought I would give everyone a heads up. It seems this guy is milling the covers with a CNC machine out of 6061 aluminum aircraft alloy, mounting and all for $29.95 + $3.00 shipping. The covers are of identical design and function to PainterlyShotGroup's dust cover. I just ordered one and it should be here by next week. When I get it on my rifle and get to the range I'll post up a short review on it. For all those interested I'll post a link to the item on Ebay below, there is a short video on there so you can watch how it works.
