Another "new" Model 28-2

I added another N-frame to the family.

I aquired a "S" serial numbered Model 28-2 (6" barrel) this past week. Serial number on stocks matches the frame .... but no box. The gun had been fired very little, if any, by its original owner. However, my grandson has since enjoyed shooting a bit of ammo throught the gun!! There is very light bluing wear on the barrel end as it was stored in a leather holster most of its life. Other than the bit of bluing wear, it looks fresh from the factory. It will be a worthy mate to my 4" Model 28-2.

Used, but not abused. That makes for a great shooter.

Nice catch. I’m looking for a 4” to partner with my 6” 27-2. One sold at my local shop for $490 but I missed it. Nice git.
