After picking up my new 15-22 a couple days ago, I got out to test it. Two magazines of 25 only, with the only glitch being that the bolt didn't stay back after the last round on the first magazine. It did the second. I was shooting CCI standard velocity.
This is a DTMxxxx, no birdcage. Shooting at about 30yds, it was a couple inches high, but on for windage. There's a lot of snow where I'm at (N. Az). Hopefully, I'll be able to set up a bench soon.
I do a lot of predator hunting and am looking to employ this for bobcats and foxes. I'm tired of blowing holes in fur.
I've got quite a few guns that cost lots more than this one, but few compare to the fun quotient it puts out. Well, comparable to the Thompson maybe.
Thanks to Beltfed for the welcome.

Your bolt not locking back is prob. Due to the ammo.. standard vs. are sub ammo and usually won't fully cycle the bolt... switch to something around 1400 fps for your break in then you can shoot alittle less hot ammo.. just a suggestion

Thanks Belt fed...I'll pick something else up for the short term. I wondered about it's speed. Hopefully, I'll be able to return to it, because I have a case of it.
