Looking at the Cabela's site yesterday with the New Years Sales...Checked out the Primer and powder section. Soooo they supposedly had Wincheter Small Rifle No 41's on sale at 62.98 per M free shipping over 50 dollars with a 24 dollar Haz Mat...but evidently no Haz mat if sent to the store. I actually ordered 10M and the whole price came out to $629.80. I had a 100 dollar gift card given to me and had some Cabela's points built up as I pay for online pharmacy plan and occasionally buy something...so about 200 bucks off the price. We'll see when the order comes into the Local Cabela's store in Billings. If you need #41 primers...fairly cheap

Just checked Scheels and they had CCI 41s at 100 dollars M...but none in stock at Billings. This is the first time I have seen primers this cheap at Cabela's compared to other stores in years.

Buy 'em when you can.. I actually went back on Cabela's and bought some Starline brass I needed...on sale f course...ordered 2M more primers...mainly for trading stock...but again...SRPs can be used in place of small pistol....JIC...I used my wife's account this time...she had 32 dollars in points...I hope she doesn't miss 'em...or something else I'll have to deal with later:eek:

Thanks! As an FYI they also had Remington LARGE RIFLE PRIMERS available...:D

I had been looking for more of those for a long, long time.

No HAZ MAT and no $hipping or $ales Tax (in OR) made them a no-brainer!;)

Cheers! (& HAPPY NEW YEAR!)

I went ahead and ordered another 5k SPP. With tax and shipping 350 OTD. I will hold on to this 5k and sell or trade them off during the next panic.

Thanks for the heads up.

Another thing...my thoughts on the coming set prices on primers seems to have been about on...maybe a bit low. Primers seem to be coming back into the market. Esp small Pistol and rifle. I thought primers would settle at about 55 dollars per M. Seems they may be close at about 60 dollars. Like to see 'em drop a bit more. be nice if we could get 'em at the shops again so we don't have to pay HazMat and have to buy large quantities that keeps the final price down

That’s a great thing about Cabelas - I will pick up my order at the store with zero shipping cost and no Hazmat fee. Plus I don’t have to worry about being home to sign for a package.

Have to agree with you. Ship to store to be picked up. Works for me...Last year 2022 Black Friday they had a real deal on a Savage Axis with Scope...usually 400 bucks...marked down to just under 300...None in the store...well maybe one. Ordered one at 0015 on Black Friday..5 days showed up at Billings no shipping no tax in Montana...Didn't have to get up early be first in the store drivng 80 miles in the dark. They had 'em on BF this year too...but...I didn't need another..Oh got BF deal on ammo last year too..So when it comes to primers or powder shipped to store...no hazmat fee and for me...no sales tax. Scheel's may ship to store also...at the least Ask!

I have a bunch of primers ordered. All orders say shipped..Got the 22 ammo and the brass I ordered though

I received three Cabela's gift cards for Christmas ...

I better get my behind down there while I can still buy a pound of powder or a few primers with what I got ...

Powder Valley sent me an E-Mail ... Due to increased cost of production , powder prices are going up ....

Oh that's just great ... I just love our economy .
My "gift cards" will soon not be worth the plastic they are printed on ! I need to get over to Cabela's this week end while they still have someting I can use ... can always use some Unique , Bullseye , Red Dot or W231 ... Primers ...
I'll report back on what I find .

As far as I know there is only one place around me that sells reloading components (usually always out of stock on practically everything). There used to be a couple more but no longer. The closest Cabelas to me is over an hour away and they usually don't have anything either. The closest Scheels is about 1.5 hours away.

Glad to hear some primers are getting back onto the market though!

Check the Scheel's Make sure you turn on the in stock or pick up in store button. SPPs and SRPs and LPPs were in stock in Billings...no hazmat fees should come close to covering travel cost...esp if you buy 'nuff
