Another reminder of old age

We went last evening to see the NC Symphony perform, along with two singers, a Motown “love songs” show down in Raleigh.
There were two other shows at the venue, ballet and a heavy metal concert.
Started walking up to the venue and saw two loooong lines at one of the entrances. ****, “we should have got here earlier……Wait a minute, there’s a very short line over there”

The two looong lines were for the metal concert, the short one was for Motown. We sat down, the place was almost empty  “where is everyone?
Not even the musicians.

Soon, all the blue, gray and no hairs :p started arriving and the venue filled up.

We’ve been to the venue numerous times and always enjoy the performances.

No pics or videos allowed when the performance starts.

The show was great.

My preferred interview mode was face to face, always. Second best telephone, where you could at least hear a voice. Third, by email, which I detested. Never interviewed someone by text, I don't believe.

When I was working and email was starting in general use, my rule was if it took more than two exchanges of emails about the same situation, I picked up the phone. Typing emails just took too much time.
