Another Stock Question

I have a pre-Model 25 from about 1956 that came with the wrong S&W stocks on it (late production checkered targets). I put a set of diamond checkered, un-relieved targets on it and it looks fine but I just acquired a nice pair of diamond checkered, football cut-outs and they would look good too. Which would be more appropriate for this '56 vintage "45 Cal Model of 1955"?

The stocks without the relief cut on the left panel are correct for your 1955 Target 45.
