I used white fingernail polish. Spread it on and in, let it dry slightly, use papertowel folded up, with nail polish remover (non-acetone if you didn't take the slide off the frame), gently rub the excess off.

I did this exact process this weekend and it turned out EXCELLENT! Thanks for the reply. The look on my wife's face for asking her if I could use her fingernail polish was priceless.

I used auto body paint with the same technique. Mine is Oxford white. Matches the Mustang.
