There is an article in today's Memphis Commercial Appeal concerning a PILOT approval for a meat packing company named Monogram Food Solutions. PILOT is the acronym for "payments in lieu of taxes", which is legalese for we got our property taxes cut. The head of Monogram Food Solutions is a lawyer named Karl Schledwitz. Mr. Schledwitz is a local left wing biggie in the Democratic Party. He is best known for getting indicted for bank fraud along with Former Representative Harold Ford, Senior. Mr. Schledwitz is also known as a member of the Brady Bunch. In fact his wife and daughter were participants in and local organizers for the Million Mom March.

While I know not everyone who works at the company feels the way Mr. Schledwitz does, I personally try to avoid enriching anti-gunners. Thought this might be of interest to the group.

Having your name linked with Harold Ford (or any of them really) except in an adversarial way is a pretty good indication you're corrupt as all get out and probably deserve a lengthy jail sentence.
