I really like these EARLY cartridge picture boxes. Notice this one shows the early model 2 DA 38. It's not in great shape but these early boxes are difficult to find and the label is intact. Hard to get a good photo. It's better than the photo and pleasing to the eye.

I've never seen one this early on the DA model. Most are Model 3's and 4's of much later production.

Very cool. The old picture boxes are great display pieces in a S&W collection. Ive not seen that box before.
Bmur can you send me a private message? I've got a question about the USX marked New Departure/Safety Hammerless marked guns.

Love the old ammo boxes. I purchase them to display with my revolvers. Try to get the ones with pictures that match the gun.

Has anyone seen a box of old 22 ammo with a picture of the the first, second, or third single shot?

Hi Matt,
I'm not sure why your pm isn't going through. I received a message from the Moderator saying my box was full. My inbox is empty.
You can post your question on this thread if need be.
