I ended up with a few because of my collecting of Axis pistols.

I have owned a lot of different .32 ACP pistols over the years and now have only a couple of Walther PPs left. There are some master level bullseye shooters that sleeve their .32 S&W Long chambers for use with the .32 ACP.

A great uncle of mine was attacked in his office by an antifa mob in the late 1920 and killed one of the attackers with a .32ACP but then headshots usually work.

This was the Christmas present for one of my sons.

Do not overlook the HK4. It was HK's first venture into the handgun market and the "4" in HK4 stands for four calibres. The gun came with four different barrels that were supposed to interchange and work with the supplied magazines. The recoil shield could be unscrewed with the tip of the cleaning rod, flipped around and used for either centerfire or rimfire by directing the firing pin into the proper position. HK soon found out, that the extractor did not work too well in the rimfire version with different ammo than RWS .22 l.r. HV solid copper plated ammo and came up with a dedicated extractor.

The gun is a pretty soft shooter and despite the minute sights it is a very accurate gun and fun to shoot, yet, I have only tried it in .22 and .32.

I have a Colt 1903 and a Walther PPK. The Colt takes 2 men and a small boy to cock, but functions fine with the remaining rounds. There has to be something incorrect in the assembly. The Walther is just like a sewing machine - runs on everything I fed it.

I have a Llama in .32 acp. Looks similar to a Colt M1911. Forgot I had it until this thread. I bought it in the early nineties and only put one mag though it.

Talking of forgotten .32s, I have a Star SI that I have yet to shoot. It is unusual in that it uses a locked breech system rather than straight blowback. It will be interesting to compare recoil with my Beretta 81 when I finally get to the range.

I have a few. Here are some pictures, randomly assembled as I find them in my photo library.

here is a WW bring back .32. Not sure if it came home from WWI or WWII

I think anything that might help determine that would be on the side not pictured :)

If there are markings on the front strap or you can narrow down which variant it is from the detailed article below, that might answer your question.

Sauer 1913-1930 Pistols

I only have a Model 81 Beretta, but it's a great little shooter. It was one of those surplus ones. Actually keep it by my bed. I don't know if it counts, but I have the .327 FM revolver. It shoots every .32 caliber, including the .32 auto. But most effective in the magnum.
That model 81 is actually pretty accurate at 25 yds. It would at least tick someone off if hit.

It's a second variant made during the early part of WWI, so it could have come home with a dough-boy, or maybe it stayed in Germany until WWII...

.32s grow on ya. Have a few. .32Long RP. Model 31-1 in 32Long. .32ACP Colt 1903 Hammerless. Do these count - Winchester Model 53 .32-20 and Colt Army Special .32-20?

At one time, I had 20+ in .32 ACP. I have reduced my collection to one of the ex-police Beretta 81s that came on the market a year or so ago, and two 1903 Colts. One of my most favorite calibers to shoot.
