Any Bob Lee Swagger fans in here?

You guys that read and expect a movie to be a replica are smoking weed and not sharing---It cannot be done---unless you want the picture to be 6 hours long and then you would be disappointed because the actor did not live up the looks of the character you had built up in your mind. HUFF PUFF---now that folks is one of my better run-on sentences of all times.
I saw the movie---and it is GOOD---course, my idea of good movies is kinda weird---that is another subject though.
I read but do not enjoy fiction so--no--I did not read the book---that--again--is another subject, the choice of reading material.
Let me just say that history has all of the real life experiences I need.

My personal favorite is Hot Springs, and I wish he'd go back to explore a character from that book - Charles Swagger, Earl's father and Bob Lee's grandfather.....

Hot Springs is my favorite too.

Soon after I read Hot Springs I straddled my Harley and made a day trip down to the city of Hot Springs. I was simply amazed at how accurate he was with the geography and locations. I walked the lobby and corridors of the Arlington Hotel and then stepped across the street to the Southern Club, which is now a gangster museum.
